Microseismic Monitoring
BESTEC has many years of experience ranging from the installation of a monitoring station to the complete layout of a seismological network including data acquisition equipment.
The operation of seismological networks includes real-time monitoring and evaluation for providing short response times to the operators of geothermal power plants as well as the public authorities in case of microseismic events.
Besides the online and real-time evaluation, the seismological data can be analyzed offline both manually and automatically, where location techniques range from standard to high-precision relative locations. To ensure keeping up with the current state of research and development, BESTEC cooperates closely with research institutes.
